New Web site for The Temple News
Today the staff of The Temple News, led by Chris Reber, Class of 2009 and current Editor-in-Chief, and Sean Blanda, Class of 2008 and current Online editor, have unveiled the newest step in the broad online voice of The Temple News.
Have you seen the brand new Web site of The Temple News?
It is another step in taking further independence, dropping our former web service provider College Publisher. They always served us well, and we’d always recommend them to smaller publications, but with our growth and intentions on returning TTN to its stance as one of the top college newspapers in the country, we quickly outgrew them as a content manager. For more details, check out Blanda’s own Web site, where he discussed the issue on his popular blog, which focuses on such issues.
The site features multimedia – video, audio and visual slideshows – more graphics, better searchability, and a whole lot more we hope will retain, return and attract readers, loyal ones at that. It is part of our initiative to cater to our five primary audiences: students, professors and staff, parents, the community, and you, alumni of the university.
Increasingly, we see ourselves as Weekly in print, Daily online. We hope you do, too. Let us know your thoughts!
